It’s not Life that I am squandering
It’s just that I am simply wandering
With open eyes and careless feet
I oscillate from the light to the deep
Engaging with the images painted around
From the regal sky to the mulchy ground.
Oh, the time and energy that are the means
For me to generate all these scenes
From sweet birth to this irksome second
Happiness calls while sadness beckons.
Am I present right now, or am I still waiting
Or are these stories my mind is narrating?
In self-made statements of morality
Colours of nuance transcend the duality,
Each moment touched is a fresco in velvet,
I think dear, Life needs a crash helmet.
